Frond and Loam offers custom permaculture design that is water efficient and easy maintenance. I can also help you with garden maintenance and installation.

My design style is influenced by my first horticulture teacher that was from england and by my asian style designs that I implemented on the family garden when I was a teen. When I was a florist my style was described as wild and naturescaped.

I have a small selection of native and ornamental plants that I propagate that I use in my designs along with many other varieties from a selection of local growers. I sometimes include designs with my handmade pottery, custom made stepping stones, bee watering bowls and birdbaths as well as my garden sculptures created with found objects. My design certificates are in Ornamental Horticulture, Permaculture Design, and Advanced Permaculture for Climate Resilience. I design with a calculated prediction of climate change and for microclimes. I work with a lot of rainwater catchment and movement swales to help guide water to your planted areas. I also love to weave edible berry plants into the landscape and plants that benefit pollinators and other creatures.
